It works very simple:  Stik is looking through the friends of your friends (1 degree) for the service professional you are looking for and then gives you a list of people.  You can further filter your results by direct connections, location and keyword.  Now, it is up to you to do your research.  The best way is to connect to your friend and ask him/her about the service professional (in case there is no direct recommendation yet from your friend).  Then you can contact the service professional yourself.  Easy as pie.  For all those service professionals out there: make sure your profile picture is professional.  In a list of 35 insurance agents, the potential client will choose the one that looks professional.
