If you have a WordPress website, one of your biggest fears is that you would loose all your information.  I agree, that that is a really bad scenario.  In order to prevent this from happening, you need to backup your website.  There are several methods and plugins out there that will help you with saving your site.  An easy backup solution that I like is the WordPress plugin WordPress backup.  It is really simple and you don’t have to be a techie in order to set it up.  WordPress backup gives you the option to send an email with your saved WordPress files to you.  This feature only works when your website is small.  If you have a bigger site, the email would just be too big to send.  You can download the file right from the WordPress dashboard and save it wherever you want to.  If ever something would happen to your site, you can load the saved file via FTP back on your server.
